For a culture of respectful interaction

We, the community of the Elisabeth Sisters, are a Catholic religious order with a mother house in Freiburg and several locations in India. Some of our sisters work as nurses, geriatric nurses, social workers or educators in various institutions in the city of Freiburg. Another part works within the monastery in the area of administration or internal organization, in the household or in the area of caring for older sisters.

We are committed to the Gospel and its values and actively strive to contribute to the holistic development of humanity and a humane society and world.

We are convinced that the dignity of every human being is based on the image of God and is therefore the highest good that must be respected, protected and preserved.
